Text | W. S. "Dub" DeLoach 86, of Krebs, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, at his home. Born Oct 9, 1913, in Arch, Oklahoma, he was the son of William Samuel and Fannie Nancy Treadaway DeLoach of Wilburton, Oklahoma. He served his country in World War II as a member of the 45th Division and the 202nd Field Artillery. As a First Sergeant in the United States Army, he received four Bronze Service Stars, and two Bronze Stars, one with an Oak Leaf Cluster. Following the war, he married Jeanne Messina of Haileyville, Oklahoma, on Dec 31, 1945, in Dallas, Texas. He was a 32d Degree Mason and a Shriner. Survivors include his wife Jeanne Messina DeLoach of the home; his sister, Jo DeLoach Brown of Wilburton; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Sam DeLoach, Berch DeLoach, and Tom DeLoach, and sisters Mary DeLoach Mitchell, Ethel DeLoach Nichols, and Mable DeLoach Hammontree. | |
