GENETIE MOREFIELD
Genetie Pearl Morefield, 55, died at her home in Neva, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., after a three-months illness. She was a life-time resident of Johnson county and a member of the Neva Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Morefield; one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Guinn of Neva; three sons, Robert Morefield of McDowell, West Virginia, Elbert Morefield of Shouns, Tennessee, and Private First Class Oliver Morefield in Germany; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Morefield, Mrs. Tina Slamons, and Mrs. Maggie Gentry, all of Johnson City, and Mrs. Murry Jenkins of Doeville; four brothers, Isaac Morefield of Bristol, Charley Morefield of Doeville, and Jess Morefield and Karl Morefield both of Jenkins, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Neva Free Will Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Earl Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Stout Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Tetrick Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Genetie Pearl Morefield, 55, who died at her home at Neva, Tuesday, after a three-month illness, were held Thursday at the Neva Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Campbell officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Morefield; one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Guinn of Neva; three sons, Robert Morefield of McDowell, W. Va., Elbert Morefield of Shouns and Pfc. Oliver Morefield stationed in Germany; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Morefield, Mrs. Tina Salmons, and Mrs. Maggie Gentry, all of Johnson City, and Mrs. Murray Jenkins of Doeville; four brothers, Isaac Morefield of Bristol, Charlie Morefield of Doeville and Jess and Carl Morefield of Jenkins, Ky.
