Brenda Lorene Tolley Nave, 72, Hampton, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the residence of a daughter. She was born May 9, 1949 in Elizabethton to the late Sam and Flossie Miller Tolley.
Brenda was a graduate of Hampton High School. She was a member of Rittertown Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, George E. “Parrot” Nave Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Chasity Julian and husband Chris and Tabby Anna and husband Henry; her grandchildren, Kaylee Miller, Samantha Tolley Harding and husband Cody, Ashley Huffman, Matt Street, Kellsey Hooper, and step-granddaughter, Hannah Julian; her great-grandchildren, Jayden Hooper, Ryland Hooper-Street, Connor Scalf, Raiden Hughes, Liam Hughes, Greyson Hughes, Octavia Harding, Cohen Harding, Kaelynn Blevins and Maddie Street; her brother, Danny Tolley and wife Sandra; and a very special ex-son-in-law, Foster Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 8, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Johnson and the Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Rittertown Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Henry Anna, Cody Harding, Danny Tolley, Jake Hughes, Kegan Blevins, Chris Julian, Matt Street and Foster Miller.
