BUNTON, Margie Marie - Age 94, died April 29, 2009 at Genesys Regional Medical Center, Grand Blanc. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Pastor Carl Petty officiating. Interment to follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. The family will receive friends Friday from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Vaughn's Christmas Fund. Mrs. Bunton was born on October 23, 1914 in Butler, Tennessee, daughter of the late Jerd and Ida Cable. Margie married Spencer Bunton in 1931 and she moved to Flint in 1954 with her family. Left to cherish her memories are daughter Daisy Silket of Spencer, West Virginia, Ulis (June) Bunton of Flint, Frank (Connie) Bunton of Flint, Jackie (Rachel) Bunton of Birch Run, Jimmie (Gail) Bunton of Davison and Pat Rowlett of Grand Blanc. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Spencer Bunton, son Dallas Bunton, grandson Jackie Bunton, Jr. and son-in-law Charles Silket.
