Billy Ford Moody, age 42, of Elk Park, N.C., died Thursday, August 10, 2006, at his residence. He was the son of the late Ford Moody and the late Mary (Hughes) Moody. Billy was a mechanic who loved his family and enjoyed fishing and tossing horseshoes. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Rosey Brown Moody; Daughter, Angie Gwyn of Elk Park, N.C.; Son, Billy Bob Moody of Elk Park, N.C.; Special Friend, Colin Wilson of Cranberry, NC; Step-Father, Orville Webb of Newland, NC; Sister, Susie Burleson of Newland, N.C.; Brothers, D W Hughes of Newland, N.C, R C Hughes of Newland, N.C.; Grandmother, Florence Moody of Beaver Dam, N.C. Funeral services for Billy Ford Moody will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2006 from the Peoples Church with the Revs. Jude Hughes, Mike Hubbard, and Mr. Don Moser officiating. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jerry Johnson, David Blevins, Robby Bailey, Roy Bailey, Colin Wilson, and Charles Bailey.
