    Mrs. Ina Dean Williams, 85, 126 Joe Wilson Road, Elizabethton went to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Stella Pierce Wilson. She was formerly employed at Magnavox Corporation and retired from the East Tennessee Chair Company. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Blue Springs Christian Church.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Burgie Williams, in 1973; by a granddaughter, Amy Williams in 1983; a brother, Raymond Wilson; three sisters, Detlas Wilson, Pearl Bowers, and Hazel Williams; and a half-brother, Allen Pierce.
    Mrs. Williams enjoyed quilting and working in her flowers.
    Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Roxie and Churchill Hill and Goldie Paulette and Roger Brown, all of Elizabethton; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Wayne and Diane Williams, Elizabethton; a brother and sister-in-law, Hoover and Dorothy Wilson, Elizabethton; a sister, Roxie Buckles, Elizabethton; three grandchildren, Robin McGee, Lori Hill and Travis Brown; four great-grandchildren, Catlin Hill, Cody Hartley, Curtis Bennett and Dalton Shelton; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Richard Thomason and the Rev. Clate Briggs officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Caldwell Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, will be Catlin Hill, Travis Brown, Fayne Bowers, Terry Oliver, Jason Buckles and Justin Buckles. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the Pine Ridge Care Center for all their care and support.

    Ina married Harry Burgie Williams on 27 May 1944 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Harry (son of Charles C. Williams and Bessie Williams) was born on 15 Mar 1922 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died in 16 JANU1973ARY in Washington County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Caldwell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.     ELIZABETHTON - Kenneth Wayne Williams, age 76, of Elizabethton, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his residence. Kenneth was born in Elizabethton to the late Harry Burgie and Ina Wilson Williams. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was also preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Michelle Williams.
    Kenneth was a proud United States Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He was an electrical technician at ITT in Gray and also worked at Watauga Industries. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening – especially roses, fishing, telling jokes and loved his dogs.
    Those left to cherish Kenneth’s memory include his wife, Diane Williams of the home; two daughters, Tina Amstead of Jonesborough, TN and Tamitha Ratliff of Kingsport, TN; four grandchildren, Makaila Brittany, Megan and Terry; five great grandchildren, Mi’ara, Audrey, Maliyah, Oliver and Everson; two sisters, Goldie “Paulette” Brown and Roxie “Tootie” Hill both of Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews.
    A open visitation for friends to stop by the funeral home and sign the guest register book will be conducted from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton or at the residence at any time.
    A graveside service to honor the life of Kenneth Wayne Williams will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Mountain Home National Cemetery (New Annex – 215 Heroes Drive) with Pastor Marvin Slagle officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Churchill Hill will serve as honorary pallbearer.
