William M. Luttrell, 84, Rt. 8, Jonesboro, died 8 a.m. yesterday following an extended illness.
A retired carpenter, Mr. Luttrell was the son of the late Samuel S. and Cindia Phillips Luttrell. He was a member of First Christian Church, Jonesboro.
His son died in February and his wife died in April of this year.
Survivors include one sister; Mrs. Ella Miller, Jonesboro; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Gladys Young, Winter Park, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

William married Losey Pearl Oliver about 1917. Losey (daughter of John Smith Oliver and Martha Jane Hilliard) was born on 29 Sep 1891 in , Watauga County, North Carolina, North Carolina; died on 15 Apr 1969 in Washington County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Happy Valley Memorial Park, , Carter County, Tennessee.
