    Buried:
    Danette Hardin, 77, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Daniel H. and Ina M. Estep. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Richard Estep, and a grandson, Jesse Hardin.
    Those left to cherish her memories include her devoted husband of 59 years, David “Doug” Hardin; son, Jeff Hardin and wife Sherri; daughter, Stephanie Ensor and husband Donald; six grandchildren, Sarah Hardin (fiancé Weston Colbaugh), John-Wesley Hardin, Rebekah Hardin, Brandi Ensor (fiancé Chris Beach), Davy Ensor and Daniel Ensor; and a very special great-granddaughter, Allie Beach.
    Survivors also include five special sisters-in-law, Jan Estep, Georgia Ellis, Carol Hardin, Vera Smith and Karen Hardin, and life-long friends, Dean and Flo Grindstaff. In addition, she is survived by many nephews and nieces.
    Danette was a life-long member of Stoney Creek Baptist Church and was retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services.
    A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 24, at 1 pm. at Blevins Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Music will be provided by the New Liberty Quartet. Pallbearers will be selected from grandsons and nephews in attendance. Friends and family are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:20 p.m. Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family would like to express a special thank you to her grandson, Davy Ensor, for his loving care and assistance during her illness, the staff of Caris Healthcare, and all the visits and meals from family, friends and neighbors.
