    Brady M. Nave, 57, of Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Elizabethton, Tenn., to the late Worley M. Nave Jr. and Thelma Catherine Hardin Nave of Elizabethton. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Blanche Hardin, and a first cousin, Gary Clemmons.
    Brady was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his wife and grandchildren.
    Brady proudly served in the U.S. Army for 28 years and was a part of Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
    Those in addition to his mother left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Nave, of the home; a daughter, Reva Phillips and fiancé, Daniel Bates; a son, Sammy Phillips and fiancée, Tammy Wilson of Elizabethton; three grandchildren, Wesley Phillips, Pheonixx Phillips and McKynlee Bates; and a special brother-in-law, Walter E. Williams (DeRhonda) of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
    The family will receive friends at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 18. A committal service to honor the life of Brady M. Nave will be conducted Monday, July 19, at 2 p.m. in the Mountain Home National Cemetery at the New Annex (215 Heroes Drive, Mountain Home, Tn). Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Walter Williams, Wesley Phillips, Jim Bowling, Harvey Tester and Rod Whitehead.
