Lucille Johnson, age 83 of Mountain City, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at her home. Lucille was born on March 19, 1937 to Estel Lipford and Nell Lipford. In addition to her parents Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Johnson, sons, Anthony Johnson and Robert Lee Johnson, granddaughter, Reba Michelle Harper, great-grandchildren, Riley Edmisten and Dominic Johnson, sister, Jessie Caldwell, brothers, Wayne, Harold and Blaine Lipford.

Lucille was a collector of anything connected with Roosters. She enjoyed cooking and canning but most of all she truly enjoyed her grandchildren and will be missed by all. Lucille was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories included her children, Linda Harper and husband Dean, Angie Edmisten and husband Steve, Missy Hightower and husband David; sons, Lloyd Johnson, William Johnson and wife Janet, Aaron Johnson; daughter-in-law, Janice Johnson; sisters, Carlene Courtner and husband Lynn and Mary Dunn, brother, Billy Lipford and wife Margaret, grandchildren, Bobby Johnson, Susan Johnson, Shannon Harper, Joe Johnson, Rosanna Eggers, Charity Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Greggory Johnson, Michael Price, Reba Blevins, Gloria Newsome, Nikki Beam, Crystal Roark, David Hightower, Jennifer Hightower, Daniel Hightower, Matthew Hightower, Erica Hightower, and Ethan Hightower, forty three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, special family Mary Alice Herdman and Dot Canter.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Mountain City Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Eugene Ward and Dean Harper officiating. Graveside service held and burial will follow at the Johnson-Lewis Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Johnson Jr., Joseph Johnson Sr., Ray Eggers, Dave Hightower, Daniel Hightower, Greggory Johnson, Matthew Hightower, Ethan Hightower, Eli Beam, Billy Caldwell, Ricky Courtner, Gregory Jones, and Coy Lipford. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Johnson, Lloyd Johnson, Clayton Johnson, Roger Caldwell, Billy Lipford, Steve Edmisten, Dean Harper, David Hightower, Aaron Johnson, Andrew Beam, Shannon Harper, Bobby Johnson and Lynn Courtner.

Reba married Earl Smith Johnson on 23 Aug 1955 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee. Earl (son of James W.I. Johnson and Lillie Belle Reece) was born on 29 Sep 1930 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee; died on 9 Jan 2013 in , Watauga County, North Carolina, North Carolina; was buried in Johnson-Lewis Cemetery, , Johnson County, Tennessee. Lloyd Ray Johnson age 64, of Mountain City, TN passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, TN. He was born in Banner Elk, NC on August 16, 1956 to the late Earl Johnson and Lucille Lipford Johnson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Anthony Johnson and Lee Johnson.

Lloyd loved hunting and fishing. He liked to go to the lake and he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Susan Johnson and Steven Luchini; son, Bobby Johnson and husband Jhon Agudelo; sisters, Missy Hightower and husband David, Angie Edmisten and husband Steve, Linda Harper and husband Dean; brother, Willie Johnson and wife Janet; grandchild, Charles Johnson and wife Rachel; great grandchild, Owen Johnson; sister-in-law, Janice Johnson; special niece, Jennifer Hightower and Greg and their daughter Paisleigh(squirrel) Jones; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Mountain City Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Charles Johnson to speak. The graveside service and burial will immediately follow at Johnson-Lewis Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Johnson, Steven Luchini, Darnel Lane, Joe Johnson, David Hightower Jr, Daniel Hightower, Matthew Hightower, and Micah Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Jones, Billy Caldwell, Lynn Courtner, Randy Smith, Billy Ray Icenhour, and John Agudelo.

Robert Lee Johnson, age 60 of Mountain City, entered his heavenly home on Thursday, June 30, 2020 at his home. Lee was born on January 18, 1960 to Earl and Lucille Johnson in West Grove, PA. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Johnson and entered heaven’s gates meeting his babies he never met on this earth.

Lee was a one of a kind man who would give you the coat off of his back. There was no greater love than he had for his wife and children. Lee was a loving husband for almost 43 years and the greatest Husband, Daddy, and Pawpaw one could ever ask for. He was a brother, a son, an uncle, a friend, an everlasting light in everyone’s life that will never be forgotten.

Those left to cherish his memories included his wife of almost 43 years, Janice Johnson; daughter, Rosanna Lucille Johnson Eggers and husband Ray; granddaughters, Shaleah, Shyanna, Chloe, Channah Eggers; son, Joseph Lee Johnson Sr. and wife Whitney; grandsons, Joseph Lee Johnson Jr., Clayton Lee Johnson, Tyler Fletcher; granddaughters, Lillie Johnson, Chailyn Johnson, Maddison Johnson, Gracie Johnson; mother, Lucille Johnson; sisters, Linda Harper and husband Dean, Angie Edmisten and husband Steve, Missy Hightower and husband David; brothers, Lloyd Johnson, William Johnson and wife Janet, Aaron Johnson; brother-in-law, Bob Price; several nieces, nephews, and his dog, Piper, that was always by his side.

There will be a private graveside service held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Johnson-Lewis Family Cemetery with Pastor Frank Rash officiating. Pallbearers will be Joseph Johnson Jr., Joseph Johnson Sr., Ray Eggers, Dave Hightower, Daniel Hightower, Greggory Johnson, Billy Caldwell, Ricky Courtner, Gregory Jones, and Coy Lipford. Larry Anthony Johnson, age 54, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. He was born on February 5, 1962 to Lucille Johnson and the late Earl S. Johnson. In addition to his father, Anthony was preceded in death by a grandson, Dominique Johnson.

Anthony was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed ginseng hunting and fishing. Anthony also enjoyed watching westerns. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Reba Lucille Johnson; daughter, Charity Carrillo; sons: Christopher Johnson and girlfriend Samantha Jones, Gregory Johnson and Aaron Johnson and wife Mistee; loving ex-wife, Mary Alice Herdman; grandchildren: Fantasia Garland, Zachary Garland, Gabbrielle Robbins, Travis Waspi, Isaac Johnson, Aaron Johnson Jr., Hailey Johnson and Ember Johnson; sisters: Linda Harper and husband Willard, Angela Edmisten and husband Steve and Melissa Hightower and husband David; brothers: Lloyd Johnson, Robert L. Johnson and wife Janice and William Johnson and wife Janet.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Mountain City Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Gene Ward officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow at the Johnson-Lewis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Johnson, David A. Hightower, David L. Hightower, Matthew Hightower, Scotty Robbins, Daniel Hightower, Charles Johnson, Darnell Lane and Ethan Hightower. Honorary pallbearers are all of his special friends.
