    Sharon Johnson, 68, of Swannanoa, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville, N.C. Sharon was born in Elizabethton to the late Jack Dempsey Johnson and Mary Kate Burrow Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an older sister, Kathy Jones.
    Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith and had worked as a certified nursing assistant. Sharon loved her job in healthcare and taking great care of her patients. She also enjoyed cooking and playing games but loved her family most of all.
    Those left to cherish her memories include her children, Anthony Dale Johnson, Crystal Gail and Matthew; her grandchildren, Victoria, Reece, Justin, Dylan, Danielle, Austin, Damien and Harper; her sister, Priscilla; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Elizabeth, Andrew James and Samantha Ann.
