    JOHNSON CITY - Jackie Taylor Winters, 80, Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2020.

    She was a daughter of the late William and Beryl Buckles Taylor.

    Jackie was a skilled homemaker who enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, gardening, reading her Bible, and watching girls softball – especially the Lady Vols. Her unwavering faith in God, strong will, and joyful sense of humor provided comfort and strength to loved ones as they watched her go through many serious health issues. She would always say, “It’s going to be alright”.

    In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by brothers Jerry and Mike Taylor; and grandson Charles Wise. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles “C.W.” Winters; children, Barbara Taylor (Terry), Wayne Winters, Terry Winters (Delores Trent), and Pam Weaver (Tommy); siblings, Charles Taylor (Teresa), Jean Langeroudi, and Cindi Taylor; grandchildren, Devon Winters, April Winters, Sheyenne Weaver, and Kendra Keylon; great-great-granddaughter, Rosa Paredes; several nieces and nephews.

    The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at 7:00 P.M. from the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with Pastor James Ginley officiating.

    The family will receive friends prior to the service Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in the East Parlor of the funeral home.

    The graveside committal service will be held Thursday at 9:00 A. M. in Roselawn Memory Gardens.
