    ELIZABETHTON - Georgia Lee Clawson Rosenbaum, 77, Elizabethton passed away December 25, 2019 in the Hillview Health Center.

    Born December 25, 1942 in Butler, Tennessee to the late Gurney & Goldie Lunceford Clawson. She worked at TPI. She also worked at KFC for several years. Georgia was a member and Past President of the Carter County Crewettes. She was a member of Valley Forge House of Prayer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Tony Clawson, Roy Potter and Ross Lambert her step-dads. She loved working in her home and her family.

    Survivors include her husband of 41 years Ernest "Rosie" Rosenbaum. Her Children: Dexter (Lora) Adkins, Eddie Adkins, Rochelle (Mickey) Darnell and Johnny (Shay) Hicks. Her Grandchildren: Mason Hicks, Jessica (Dylan) Shetley, Dustin (Kelly) Simerly, Jeremy ( Cipriana) Simerly, Mallory (Matt) Howell and Heather (Jody) Rodefer. Her Great Grandchildren: McKinley, Christian and Jesse Pritchard, Oliver Shetley, Abbi, Liam, Mateao and Mia Simerly, Taylor, Jackson and Walker Howell, Corban, Caitlyn and Weston Rodefer, and two sisters.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday in memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Waycaster officiating. The eulogy will be given by Cecil Nelson. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 in the Spears Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Ernie Rosenbaum, Dexter Adkins, Johnny Hicks, Mason Hicks, Dustin Simerly, Jeremy Simerly, Mickey Darnell and Chris Ritchie. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jim Higgins, Cecil Nelson, Members of the Carter County Rescue Squad & Crewettes, Carson Scott, Neighbors and in memory of David Nelson. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the staff of Avalyn Hospice, the staff of Hillview Health Center and the staff of Legacy Home Care.
