Mary Alma Combs Trivett, age 89, of Sugar Grove died February 7, 2019 at her daughter's home.
Alma was born June 3, 1929 in Watauga County. She was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church.
She was well known for her homemade chicken and dumplings, livermush, and Christmas stack cakes.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Trivett and wife Janet of Rembert, South Carolina; one daughter, Teresa Isaacs and husband Larry of Zionville; one sister, Loy Carolyn Guy of Vilas; one granddaughter, three grandsons, eight great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Trivett; one daughter, Claudia Trivette; two sisters, and thirteen brothers.

Graveside services and burial services held at Guy-Combs Cemetery in Sugar Grove.

Mary married Cloyd Trivette about 1948 in , Watauga County, North Carolina, North Carolina. Cloyd (son of McDonley John Trivette and Mary Lodena Tester) was born on 19 Jan 1927 in , Watauga County, North Carolina, North Carolina; died on 11 May 2006 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Combs Cemetery, , Watauga County, North Carolina.
