BRISTOL, Tenn. Daisy Gouge Harrell, 96, went to be with the Lord at her home on November 10, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mitchell County, North Carolina, and was the daughter of Lilton and Bessie Gouge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Harrell; son, Norman Harrell; grandson, Chuck Harrell; siblings, Lawrence, Lucy, Thomas, Rosa, Fred, and her twin brother, Bill. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Harrell; brother, Harry Gouge; granddaughters, Debbie Wyatt (Todd), Suzi Hess (Terry), Alice Meadows (Mike), and Becky Carraway (Gary); great grandchildren, Colten and Bailey Hess, Max Wyatt, Anna, Marshall, and Alora Carraway; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services for Daisy Harrell will be conducted on Thursday, November 12, 2015, in the Mount Rose cemetery with the Rev. Elmer Cardwell, Jr. officiating.

Daisy married George Harrell about 1936. George was born on 28 Oct 1915 in , Yancey County, , North Carolina; died on 13 Oct 1996 in Smyth County, , , Virginia; was buried in Mount Rose Cemetery, , Washington County, Virginia. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
