JOHNSON CITY - Beatrice "Bea" Rambo Garland, 92, of Johnson City, Tennessee, entered the gates of Heaven on August 11, 2019 at the Waters of Johnson City.

Born in Mitchell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Pheobe Hill Honeycutt.

Bea was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and the Senior Citizens Center in Johnson City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Dana Robert Rambo, and Leonard "Len" Garland, 4 brothers, and 6 sisters.

Those left to cherish Bea's memory include her daughter, Brenda Payne and her husband Joe, son, Robert "Bob" Rambo, grandchildren: Joe Payne Jr., Lisa Morley, Lora Yonce, Amy Birchfield, and Vicki Rambo; Her Great grandchildren, Great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service for Bea will be conducted on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 7:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City with Rev. Brian Powell officiating. The family will greet friends to share memories from 5:00 pm until time of the service.

A committal and interment service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephew.

Beatrice married Robert Dana Rambo on 21 Aug 1946 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee. Robert (son of James Webster Rambo and Susan Zellia "Zillie" Robinson) was born on 13 Nov 1915 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee; died on 3 Jun 1976 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Monte Vista Memorial Park, , Washington County, Tennessee. Beatrice married Leonard Wood Garland about 1978 in , Washington County, Tennessee, . Leonard (son of Walter Garland and Mary Ann Tipton) was born on 13 Mar 1920 in , Mitchell County, North Carolina, ; died on 20 Aug 2010 in , Washington County, Tennessee, ; was buried in Mountain Home National Cemetery, Washington County, Tennessee, .
