    Buried:
    Kenny Ray Shook, 51, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was the son of the late Winford Wilson and Clara Kathleen Jones Shook.
    Kenny loved to attend NASCAR races at Bristol Motor Speedway and enjoyed listening to music by Ralph Stanley and Elvis Presley. Kenny loved to go to church and spend time with his family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing games on his Xbox. Kenny was a member of First Baptist Church of Church Hill, Tenn.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncles, Edward Jones, George Jones, Willie Jones and Gurney Jones; two aunts, Vertie Taylor and Eula Carver; and a nephew, Jesse Deloach.
    Those left to cherish his memories are his two sisters, Bonnie Tunnell of Gray and Janet Shook of Elizabethton; a brother, Alvin Shook of Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews.
    A service to celebrate the life of Kenny Ray Shook will be conducted at noon Saturday, March 27, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating. Eulogy will be by Mrs. Bonnie Tunnell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home between the hours of 11 a.m. and noon, prior to the service. The committal and entombment will be held following the service on Saturday in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be David Dingus, Doug Bowser, Stephan Oakley, Johnny Lawson, Robert Joyner and Josh Ledford. Honorary pallbearer will be Tom Luttrell.
