    GRAY - William Carl Ford 81, of Gray, went to be with the Lord Saturday March 23, 2019.

    A native and resident of Gray, Mr. Ford retired from Whites Food. A member of Gray United Methodist Church and a mason of Sinking Creek Lodge #575, Mr. Ford sang with the Elderly Boys and enjoyed playing his guitar, golfing and farming.

    Preceded in death by his wife Sandra Light Ford; parents, Hyman and Erma Ford; sisters, Dorothy Fox, Claudine France and Brenda Briggs.

    Surviving include his daughters; Beth Hoilman of Clarksville, Karla Wood and husband David of Eastern Star community, Leslie Calloway of Johnson City, Joey Morris of Springfield, Illinois, Sarina Faircloth and husband Brock of Spanish Fort Alabama; son, Chris Ford of Johnson City; step-sons, Rodney Good and wife Jamie of Nashville, Dana Good and wife Jody of Hendersonville; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

    Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Gray United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Rev. Mike Hubble and Dr. Dennis Flaugher officiating.

    Graveside service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
