GAINESVILLE, FL - Rosezell Garland Hensley, age 84, Gainesville, FL, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at ET York Hospice Care Center.

She is a daughter of the late Roy Thomas Garland and Roberta Poore Garland. Rosezell was a native of Erwin before relocating to Jacksonville with her late husband.

She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Rosezell was an Educator with the Unicoi County School System.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ralph Hensley on April 19, 1983.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, three sons: Randall Alan Hensley (Theresa Locklear), Terry Ralph Hensley (Elsie Asutilla) and David Regan Hensley, all of Gainesville; one sister, Loraine Garland Hampton McDavid, Gate City, VA; three grandchildren: Keith Alan Hensley (Tara), Kaitlyn Hensley Nettle (Jason), Marial Asutilla; two great granddaughters: Cecily Rose Nettle and Stella Grace Nettle.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Noah Taylor will officiate at the 12:00 noon funeral service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
