    Notes:

    Kate Bradley Bowers, 86, of Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Signature Health Care.
    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late William and Litha Mae McCloud Bradley.
    Kate was a 1952 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a retired employee of Empire Furniture, Johnson City. Kate was a member and she loved her church, Southside Christian Church. She loved to read and send cards.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Bowers; two brothers, William and Robert Bradley; and three sisters, Dorothy Pierce, Betty Dolan and Mary Dykes.
    Survivors include her sister, Shirley M. Bradley; her brother, John "Bud" Bradley and wife Mae; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, C.J. Campbell, and a special niece, Amy Campbell.
    Graveside services for Kate Bradley Bowers will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Michael Koruschak, minister, officiating. Interment will follow the service. Active pallbearers will be nephews.
