Linda was 101 years of age. Her last home was in Bristol, TN, but she passed away at the Pine Ridge Care Center in Elizabethton.

Linda 1st married Tilson Tolley on 20 Jun 1931 in Carter County, TN. He was the son of Daniel C & Cora Tolley.

A native of Carter County, she was the d/o William Henry & Mattie(Tolley) Clark.

Linda was a homemaker & loved to sew. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Tilson Tolley, a 2nd husband, Jim Vance; two daughter's, Ruth Tolley & Margie McClellean; two sons, Lewis & C.J.; & seven brother's & sister's.

Ruby (Albert)Ellison of Hampton &
Lovie Tolley of Elizabethton.
Son Earnest D (Roxie) Tolley of Bristol, & many grandchildren, gr & gr-gr-grandchildren.

Lovie Novella Tolley Calvin, 79, of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at her residence.
A native of Hampton, she was a daughter of the late Tilson Lincoln Tolley and Lindie Clark Tolley Vance.
Mrs. Calvin was a homemaker. She was a member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Calvin, and an infant daughter, Bethie Christine McClellan.
Survivors include her children, Windell "J.B." Tolley and Barbara Jean Palin, Linda Mozella Jackson and husband Bobby, Barbara Erlene Grimmett, John Lincoln McClellan and wife Hilda Diane, Timmy Kail McClellan and wife Teresa, and Timmy McClellan and Christie Metcalf; a sister, Ruby Ellison; a brother, Earnest Tolley; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Lovie Novella Tolley Calvin will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, January 5, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 6, in the Brownlow-Tolley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

Lovie married Clint McClellan on 11 Aug 1954 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Clint (son of John McClellan and Lizzie (McClellan)) was born on 17 Dec 1928 in , Giles County, Tennessee, ; died on 15 Sep 1993 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
