    Mrs. Mae Deloach, 93, 413 Peachtree Lane, Elizabethton, died Friday, October 29, 1999, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness.

    Mrs. Deloach was a native of Johnson County and a daughter of the late Arch and Tish Sluder Lipford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Deloach, in 1973, a daughter, Julie Carr, a son, Herbert Deloach, two grandsons, five brothers and two sisters.

    Mrs. Deloach had lived most of her life in Carter County. She was a member of the Cobbs Creek Baptist Church.

    Survivors include four daughters, Ruby Morton, Lula Bell Frazier and Joan Jarrett, all of Elizabethton, and Betty Stevens, Hampton; two sons, Buddy Deloach and Clif Deloach, both of Elizabethton; and one sister, Beulah Kyte, Butler. Sixteen grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

    Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

    Ruby Deloach Morton,95, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Bill & Mae Lipford Deloach. She was retired as a cook from Happy Valley High School. She also worked as a CNA at Hillview Health Center for 23 years. Ruby loved to cook, music and loved being around kids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands: David Cliff Morton, Roy Huskins and Luther Morton, three brothers: Buddy Deloach, Herbert Deloach and Cliff Deloach and two sisters: Julie Deloach Carr and Lula Bell Deloach Frazier. Ruby was a member of Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Ruby was an inspiration to all who knew her. She always was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. All who knew Ruby loved Ruby. She was inducted into the Happy Valley High School Hall of Fame in 1994.

    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Mae Lipford Deloach.
    Ruby was retired as a cook from Happy Valley High School. She also worked as a CNA at Hillview Health Center for 23 years. Ruby loved to cook, loved music and loved being around kids. She was a member of Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
    Ruby was an inspiration to all who knew her. She always was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. All who knew Ruby loved Ruby. She was inducted into the Happy Valley High School Hall of Fame in 1994.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, David Cliff Morton, Roy Huskins and Luther Morton; three brothers, Buddy Deloach, Herbert Deloach and Cliff Deloach; and two sisters, Julie Deloach Carr and Lula Bell Deloach Frazier.
    Survivors include three step-sons, Michael (Connie) Morton, Jeff (Sherry) Morton and Teddy Morton; two step-daughters, Jane Michalski and Iva Lee (Earnest) Garland; two step-grandsons, Chris Morton and Teddy Joe Morton Jr.; three step-granddaughters, Libby Sims, Baleb Kunath and Autumn Sims; four step-great-grandchildren; her special nieces, Brylee “Dolly” Stevens, Honery Dugger, Vivian Dugger, Samantha Stevens, Karen Tester and Karen Applegate; her special nephews, Bubba Dugger and Caden Bryant; her sister, JoAnn Jarrett; and her special sister, Betty Stevens.
    A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 17, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Earnest Garland officiating. Interment will follow the service. Active pallbearers will be David Bryant, Dustin Bryant, Chad Bryant, Shawn Stevens, Johnny Vines, Bill Applegate, Michael Morton, Jeff Morton, Teddy Morton and Ernie Garland. Honorary pallbearers will be former students and faculty of Happy Valley High School.

    William Buddy Deloach, 79, 170 River Road, Elizabethton passed away Sunday January 11, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late William Bill and Roxie Mae Lipford Deloach. He was a retired School Bus Driver with the Carter County School System and also worked as a Cab Driver with the Graham Cab Company. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Deloach and a sister, Julie Carr.

    Survivors include his wife of 54 years: Charlotte Burrow Deloach. A son & daughter-in-law: Bill & Michelle Deloach, Elizabethton. A daughter & son-in-law: Betty & Rick Walker, Elizabethton. Two Grandchildren; Travis Walker and Leah Deloach, Two Step-Grandchildren: Cody Carter and Trista Freeman. Two Great Grandchildren: Payton & Hannah Norris. Four Sisters: Lula Frazier, Betty Stevens, Ruby Morton and husband Luther and Joann Jarrett and husband Bob. One Brother and sister-in-law: Clifford & Loretta Deloach. Several Nieces & Nephews, two special friends: Myran Montgomery and Cindy Croy. One Aunt: Beulah Kyte, Butler.

    Graveside Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. James Hawk officiating. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday will be: Doug Markland, Rob Miller, Myran Montgomery, Ritchie Burrow, Lawrence Hodge and Tommy Widener. Honorary pallbearers will be: JM Peters, Jim Buchanan, Roger Burrow, Bob Jarrett, Dr. Stephen May and Luther Morton. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to Home Hospice for their loving care and support. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.     Clifford Deloach, Sr., 72, of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at his residence in Elizabethton.

    He was a native of Butler and a son of the late, William and Roxie Mae Lipford Deloach. He was also preceded by 1 sister, Julie Carr and 2 brothers, Herb and Buddy Deloach.

    Mr. Deloach was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

    He had worked for over 20 years for ET&WNC Transportation and was retired from Penske Transportation as a Deisel Mechanic.

    Survivors include; his wife of 53 years, Loretta Peters Deloach; one son, Clifford Deloach, Jr of Johnson City; two daughters, Tammy Bentley and her husband Steve of Elizabethton and Connie Delph of Jonesborough; three Grandchildren, Christy Manning and her husband Michael and Gary Delph, Jr and his wife, Mandy all of Johnson City and Stephen Aaron Bentley of Elizabethton; three great Grandchildren, Blake Delph, Kaelyn Delph and Adam Michael Manning all of Johnson City; four sisters, Ruby Morton, Lula Belle Frazier and JoAnn Jarrett all of Elizabethton and Betty Stevens of Hampton; several nieces and nephews also survive. Special friends, Archie Robinson, Larry Shoun, Paul Clawson and James Phipps.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Charles Knight and Rev. Kenley Knight will officiate. Burial services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gary Delph, Stephen Bentley, Travis Bates, Chad Bryant, Steve Bentley and Michael Manning. A procession will leave the funeral home for the cemetery at 9:40 am Thursday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00pm on Wednesday. A special thanks to the Nurses and staff of Amedysis Hospice.

    Lula Bell "Lou" Deloach Frazier, 76, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, October 26, 2017, after a battle with cancer.
    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Mae Lipford Deloach.
    Lou was a retired cook at Happy Valley High School. Lou loved her family, grandchildren and her church and loved doing woodwork and working in her garden. She was a member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Frazier, who died November 21, 2007; a sister, Julie Carr; and three brothers, Buddy, Cliff and Herbert Deloach.
    Survivors include her children, Karen Applegate and husband Bill and David Bryant and wife Melissa, all of Elizabethton; six grandchildren, Dustin Bryant, Chad Bryant, Jamie Carpenter, Kristen Campbell, Cassie Lowe and Travis Bates; five great-grandchildren, Dayton Whitehead, Cassidy Carpenter, Jayce Lowe, Callie Lowe and Caden Bryant; her sisters, Ruby Morton, Betty Stevens and JoAnn; several nieces and nephews; and two special sisters-in-law, Loretta Deloach and Charlotte Deloach.
    Funeral services for Lula Bell "Lou" Deloach Frazier will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 29, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Johnson and the Rev. Mark Potter officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Michael Carpenter, Dustin Bryant, Chad Bryant, Travis Bates, Bill Applegate, Johnny Vines, Robert Campbell, Jack Whitehead, Dayton Whitehead and Jackson Lowe. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Bates, Robert Carr, Herman Carr, Shannon Whitehead and R.L. Potter. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the staff of Amedisys Hospice, Johnny Vines, whom she thought of as a second son, Jack and Teresa Whitehead and family, Charlotte Hodge and Sue Hyde for all the help during Lou's illness.

    Mr. Bill Deloach, 55, of Elizabethton, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Johnson City Medical Center Hospital. He was the son of the Charlotte Burrow Deloach of Elizabethton and the late William Buddy Deloach.
    Mr. Deloach was employed by Volunteer Floor Covering, Roan Mountain, and was of the Baptist Faith. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren and was interested in old cars.
    In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Michelle Malone Deloach, of the home; a daughter, Leah Deloach, Johnson City; a step-daughter, Trista Freeman, of the home; a step-son, Codey Carter, of the home; two grandchildren, Hannah Norris, the light of his life, of the home; Payton Norris, Johnson City; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Rick Walker, Elizabethton; a nephew, Travis Walker, Elizabethton; a special uncle, Roger Burrow, Elizabethton; his special mother-in-law, Evelyn Malone, Bluff City; and several other aunts and uncles. Two special friends, Ricky Hatley and Keith "Myron" Montgomery also survive.
    The funeral service for Mr. Deloach will be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Peace, Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Pastor Ben Sheets officiating. Music will be under the direction of Joel Crisp. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, on Wednesday prior to the service, at his home, or at the home of his mother, at other times.
    The graveside service and interment will be conducted on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Myron Montgomery, Rick Hatley, Kenny Bouton, Rob Miller, Chris Blumenstock, and Randy Cross. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Depew and his fellow employees of Volunteer Floor Covering.

    In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gary Delph Sr.

    Survivors include: his mother, Loretta Deloach, of Elizabethton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Tammy and Steve Bentley, of Elizabethton, and Connie Delph, of Joneborough; a niece, Christy Manning, of Johnson City; two nephews, Stephen Bentley, of Elizabethton, and Gary Delph Jr., of Johnson City; two special friends, Lisa Nunley and Erin Conklin.

    A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, July 23, 2012, in the North Chapel of the Morris-Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Pastor Tony Trott.
