    Ella Jay Morton Tolley, 96, Hampton passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 in the Hermitage Health Center following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late William & Essie Murray Morton. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and work in her yard. She attended Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Julius Tolley who died July 3, 1994 and by four brothers and one sister.

    Survivors include her children: Sharon Moore & husband Arthur, Elizabethton and Julius Tolley, Jr & wife Sandy, Hampton. Two Grandchildren: Betty Jane Fernandes & husband Chauncey and Gary Hensley & wife Teresa. Several Great Grandchildren. One Sister: Erma Lee Wright, Elizabethton.

    Graveside Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery with the Rev. Dexter Brummitt officiating. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Friends may visit with either of the children at their home. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the staff of Hermitage Health Center and the staff of Caris Hospice for all the care she received during her stay there.

    Ella married Julius Tolley on 12 Nov 1945 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Julius (son of Charlie Tolley and Lockie Evelyn Hilmon) was born on 14 Jan 1924 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 3 Jul 1994 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Mountain Home National Cemetery, , Washington County, Tennessee.     HAMPTON - James A. “Jim” Murray, age 79, of Hampton, Tn. Passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, peacefully at his home. Jim was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was the son of the late Arthur J. & Betty Morton Murray. He was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. He attended Hampton Christian Church. He was a Master Mason of Hampton Lodge # 750 for fifty years. He was a member of UA Pipefitters and Plumbers Local # 538. Jim enjoyed fishing, riding his golf cart, helping others, and watching his grandson play/coach basketball.

    Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Nancy McNeil Murray, of the home; Daughter & Son-In-Law: Lorie & Gary Plank of Bluff City, Tn.; Grandson & Granddaughter-In-Law: Wesley and Annie Murray of Hampton, Tn.
