Alice Adeline Hicks Trivette, 85, of 3670 Laurel Creek Road, Banner Elk, died Nov. 10, 2004, at Watauga Medical Center.
She was born June 19, 1919, in Watauga County. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Community Church.
Survivors include five sons, Jerry Trivette of Banner Elk; Bob Trivette and wife, Eula, of Vilas; Tom Trivette and wife, Linda, of Lexington and James Trivette of Charlotte; one sister, Mrs. Clara Trivette; and one brother, Benjamin Hicks, both of Banner Elk. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Chester Trivette, a daughter, Linda Sue Trivette Cox; a granddaughter, Lori Ann Trivette; one brother and a number of sisters.
Funeral service held at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Richard Trivette and Rev. Delmar James. Burial in the Piney Grove Community Church Cemetery.
