Reba C. Ross, age 85, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at her residence, following an extended illness.
Reba was a daughter of the late John B. and Winnie Cress Ornduff.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Mrs. Ross was born in Johnson County, Tennessee, but had lived in Carter County most of her life. She was a former employee of Iodent and was the former owner and operator of Happy Hair Beauty Salon. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Don Ross, of the home; a daughter, Dena Jupin, Augusta, GA; a son, Ronn Ross and wife Donna, Valdosta, GA; one grandson, Chris Jupin and wife Anita, Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Gilbert Ornduff and wife Ann, Elizabethton, and Rufus Ornduff, Columbia, SC; four sisters, Maria Ward, Erma Nidiffer, Sharon Holmes and husband David, and Olga Rice, all of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Reba C. Ross will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Ron Owens and Rev. Travis Tyler, officiating.
Active pallbearers will be selected from the men of Grace Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Vivian Clark and Tammy Draper.

Peggy J. Ornduff, 81, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013, in the Pine Ridge Care Center following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Frank Lee and Gladys Gentry Ornduff. Peggy was a graduate of Elizabethton High School, and East Tennessee State College, where she received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She was employed by the Johnson City School System for over 40 years as an Elementary School Teacher. Peggy was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. She served as a Sunday School Teacher for several years. She was a member of the ADKA Teachers Sorority, Friend of the Library, member of the Book Club and loved to travel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother: Harry L. Ornduff; a sister: Frances E. Ornduff; and a nephew: Eric Lee Collins. Survivors include a sister: Millie Jane Collins and her husband, Gerald "Pete" Collins, Elizabethton; Two Brothers: Richard D. Ornduff, Elizabethton, and David Ornduff and wife, Betsy, Maryville, Tennessee; Two Nephews: Timothy L. Ornduff, Knoxville, and Gregory L. Ornduff, Maryville; One Great Nephew: Matthew L. Ornduff. A Service to Celebrate the life of Peggy J. Ornduff will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Hendrich officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by the Oak Street Baptist Church Choir. ELIZABETHTON - Richard Douglas Ornduff, age 79, Of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Richard was born in Elizabethton to the late Frank and Gladys Gentry Ornduff. In addition to his parents, Richard was also preceded in death by his older sisters, Frances E. Ornduff and Peggy J. Orndfuff; his oldest brother, Harry L. Ornduff; and a nephew, Eric Lee Collins.

Richard was a loving brother and a good Christian man who loved spending time with his sister. He was definitely unique and a very kind person. He had worked as a plumber and was a member of First Baptist Church of Elizabethton. In his spare time Richard enjoyed reading and watching football.

Those left to remember him include a sister, Millie J. Collins and a brother, David R. Ornduff; as well as his twin nephews, Timothy and Gregory Ornduff and one great nephew, Matthew Ornduff.

A graveside service to celebrate Richard’s life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 PM on Friday.

ELIZABETHTON - John Daniel "Dan" Ornduff, age 77, of Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at his residence.

Dan was born in Elizabethton to the late Wylie and Helen Sneed Ornduff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Buford Ornduff.

Dan was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had been employed as a truck driver for General Shale for over 40 years and was of the Baptist faith. Dan enjoyed camping, trucks and motorcycles.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Daisy Rasnick Ornduff, of the home; three children, Teresa K. Belcher and husband John, of Bristol, TN, John Mark Ornduff and wife Kim, of Johnson City, and Julie Berry and husband Charlie, of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, Cody Buckles, Lisa Moore, Melissa Nelson, Cydney Robertson and Emma Ornduff; his great grandchildren, Madison Moore and John Nelson; a brother, Wilson Ornduff, of Elizabethton; a very special nephew, Danny Ornduff, of Elizabethton; and all of his special, CB Buddies.

A service to honor the life of John Daniel "Dan" Ornduff will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Dr. James Richardson, officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Wednesday, or at the residence at other times.

The graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Keith Younce, Charlie Berry, Danny Ornduff, Wilson Ornduff, Glen Reece and Mark Ornduff.
