    Notes:

    Miss Joyce Brown, 68, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Joyce was born in Elizabethton to the late Hagy and Mabel Winters Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
    Joyce was a homemaker and a member of Valley Forge Christian Church. She loved to spend time with her sister. Joyce also enjoyed watching animals and especially loved her cat, "Oreo."
    Those left to cherish her memory include her twin sister, Janet Brown of Elizabethton; and her special nieces, Shirley Shell and Carolyn Green, both of Roan Mountain, and Sandra Crumley of Banner Elk, N.C. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
    A graveside service to celebrate the life of Miss Joyce Brown will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the Bowling Cemetery with Rev. Hunter Greene officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
