    Luther Haskell "Ike" Icenhour, Sr., age 88, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, at his residence.

    He was a native of Johnson County, Tenn., and son of the late John A. and Catherine Moretz Icenhour. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Waunetta Icenhour.

    He was a retired employee of Univac and a long-time member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.

    Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Boyce Allison, Bristol Virginia, and Shelby and Dennis Cox, Sr. of Bluff City; and sons and daughters-in-law, Luther H. Icenhour Jr. and wife Ruth, Bristol Tennessee, John A. Icenhour and wife Judy, Bristol Virginia, James A. Icenhour and wife Annie, Bristol, Virginia, Leroy Icenhour and wife Barbara, Bristol Virginia, Bobby Icenhour and wife Shirley, Bristol Tennessee, and Eddie Icenhour and wife Deborah, Abingdon. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be conducted 7:30 p.m., Wednesday in Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Slagle officiating, assisted by Rev. Rich Mullan. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday in Mountain View Cemetery.

    The following grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Danny Icenhour, John Icenhour, Jr., Chris Icenhour, Boyce Allison II, Tony Icenhour, Tim Icenhour, Jeff Icenhour, Brian Icenhour, Dennis Cox Jr., and Nick Belcher. Honorary pallbearers, men of St. Luke United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church.
