    Obituary and Funeral Notice: Ollie L. Perry Ollie L. Perry, age 81, 231 Troy Road, Bluff City, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 in the Life Care Center of Elizabethton following an extended illness. A native of Sullivan County, TN she was the daughter of the late Adam and Mamie Woods Shipley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Perry, two sisters, Fairy Shipley and Carolyn Shipley and one brother, Frank Shipley. Mrs. Perry was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church and a retired employee of H.P.H. Apparel inspector. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law: Kenny and Phyllis Perry, Troy and Donna Perry, Mike and Darlene Perry and Steve and Thea Perry, all of Bluff City; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Freddie Osborne, Piney Flats; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Adam L. Shipley, Bluff City; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 PM, Monday, October 11, 2004, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Mr. Ernie Depew, Minister officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, prior to the service or at the residence of a son, Kenny Perry, 205 Troy Rd., Bluff City at anytime. Graveside service and interment will be at 3:30 PM Tuesday, October 12th in the Morrell Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

    ELIZABETHTON - Mr. Troy Lee Perry, age 66, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at the James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center.

    He was born in Elizabethton but grew up in Bluff City and was the son of the late Troy Jack Perry and Ollie Shipley Perry. Mr. Perry was owner of the Perry's Guttering Company. He was of the Christian faith and was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed golf, brain teaser puzzles and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

    Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Donna Jean Nave Perry, of the home; four children, Joshua Perry, Elizabethton; Chad Perry and wife Ashley, Piney Flats; Angela Randolph and husband Jeffery, Bluff City and Malachi Perry and fiancé Ashley, Bluff City; three brothers, Kenny Perry and wife Phyllis; Mike Perry and wife Darlene and Steve Perry and wife Thea, all of Bluff City; one sister, Donna Osborne and husband Freddie, Piney Flats and six grandchildren; Kaylee Randolph, Sydney Randolph, Greyson Randolph, Hunter Perry, Hudson Perry, Kyndall Perry and two grandchildren on the way.

    The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service to honor the life of Mr. Troy Lee Perry at 7:00 PM, Monday, September 24, 2018 at Bunker Hill Christian Church with Pastor Richard Bawgus officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM prior the service at the church.

    The family will hold a graveside service and inurnment at a later date at Mountain Home National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Carter County Honor Guard.
