    Missouri ?Zude? Brown, 93, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday November 22, 2006 at her residence.

    ?Ma? Brown as she was known by her loved ones, was born in Shell Creek Community of Carter County. She was a daughter of the late Will and Stella Shell McKinney. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Hampton Free Will Baptist Church, but attended Pearce?s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Hampton.

    She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Frank Brown, A Son, Elmer Brown, seven sisters and two brothers: Lois Beam, Maxine Matherly, Creola Stanley, Pink Hicheck, Edith Arnold, Lillie ?Till? Lyons, Gladys McKinney, Ernest McKinney and Roy McKinney.

    Survivors include Three Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Don & Dottie Brown, Eustis, Fla., Bill & Brenda Brown and Larry Brown of Elizabethton; Three Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Margaret & Buddy Jones, Norma Jean & Stuart Dyer and Creola & Shelby Miller all of Elizabethton; 11 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; Two Sisters & Their Husbands: Agnes & T.J. Walker Elizabethton and Willie & Dick Baughman, Johnson City; Several Nieces & Nephews.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Revis officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons and other family members.

    Notes:

    Donald B. Brown, 89, of Eustis, Fla., passed away December 8, 2018.
    A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Frank and Missouri "Zude" McKinney Brown.
    Don was a member of Bay Street Baptist Church. He was a former member and deacon of Zion Baptist Church when Reverend Clifford Smith was Pastor, before moving to Florida.
    Don joined the Navy as a young man and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. Since moving to Florida, Don joined a camping missions group called Tools for Christ. He helped build churches all over the Eastern United States. Don loved the Lord and felt this was his mission in life. He never met a stranger. He was an active Gideon.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Brown.
    Don is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dottie Gayheart, and four sons, Chris of Redmond, Wash., Rick, Tim and Greg of Florida. Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild as well as seven nieces and nephews also survive. He leaves two brothers, Bill and Larry Brown of Elizabethton, and three sisters, Margaret Jones, Norma Dyer and Creola Miller of Elizabethton.
    A memorial service was held at the Pine Lakes Baptist Church which he helped build.
