R.V. Shull, 81, 423 Coal Shute Road, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, September 10, 2002, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness.
Mrs. Shull was a native of Carter County and the daugher of the late Thomas Waylan and Hettie Ann Sims Hoss. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Shull, a daughter, Patricia Ann Peterson, and two sisters, Barbara Snyder and Goldie Taylor.
Mrs. Shull was a former employee of Magnavox.
Survivors include a son, Thoms H. Gouge, Elizabethton; a brother, Tommy Russell Hoss, Elizabethton; two sisters, Sue Lyons, Jonesborough, and June Street, Johnson City; and three grandchildren, Russell Peterson, Shari Davenport and Cyndi Dickson, all of Buffalo, Minn. Ten greet-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

SHULL -- Graveside services for R.V. Shull, 81, 423 Coal Shute Road, Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, September 10, 2002, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 12, at Centerview Church of Christ Cemetery with the Rev. D.C. Byrd officiating. Active pallbearers will Ed Peterson, Floyd Snyder, Paul Hampton, Rusty Peterson, Tommy Gouge and Robert Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Hampton and Larry Fenney.

JOHNSON CITY - June Pearl Street, age 89, of Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2018 in the Johnson City Medical Center, surrounded by her family.

June was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Hettie Sims Hoss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Clifford Street; three sisters, Goldie Taylor, R.V. Shull and Barbara Snyder; and one brother, Tom Hoss.

June had worked as a head cashier at Wright's Supermarket and was a member of Milligan Freewill Baptist church, where she sang in the church choir. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and working outside in her flowers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Stephen M. Street and wife Elizabeth, of Elizabethton; two grandsons, Lake Street and Kaden Street, both of Elizabethton; and one sister, Sue Lyons, of Johnson City. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to celebrate the life of June Pearl Street will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Pastor Mark Street, officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Sunday. Music will be under the direction of the Milligan Freewill Baptist church choir.

The committal and entombment will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 30, 2018 in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Lake Street, Kaden Street, Jimmy Oxendine, Eddie Hobbs, Mitchell Davidson, and Danny Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be June's friends and neighbors, members of Milligan Freewill Baptist church, and members of the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
