Hobert Richardson, 45, died at the home of his brother, W. T. Richardson, Rt. 5, this morning after an illness of several months. He was a resident of Huntington, W.Va., but had been in Carter County for the past four months.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Mary Richardson; two sons, Private Barney Richardson of Camp Hood, Texas; Woodrow Richardson; two brothers, W. T. and Stacey Richardson; one sister, Ena May Arnold.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body will be returned to the home of his brother Friday afternoon.

Grayson Elmer Richardson, 81, of Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home. He was a life-long resident of Elizabethton and a son of the late Anderson and Mary Katie Cox Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 special years, Betty Jean Isaacs Richardson, who passed away in 2005; two brothers; and three sisters. Mr. Richardson was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of Oak Street Baptist Church. He attended Carter County Schools, Elizabethton City Schools and played football in the U.S. Army after high school. He was retired from the Johnson City Press as a supervisor for the Pressroom. His hobby after retiring was working in his wood working shop. He also enjoyed playing with and doing for his grandchildren who meant so much to him. Grayson made an immense impact on those who knew him throughout the years. He was a model of love for his children, family and friends and the spirit of his love will live on in each of our hearts. Mr. Richardson is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Julia Markland and husband Brian and Janna Akers all of Elizabethton; three grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Cara Shea Gouge, Ryan Akers and Marcus Markland; a very special great grand-daughter, Kyra Jean Gouge, whom he called his “little red headed baby”; a very special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, E. Glenn Isaacs and wife Audrey; niece Keely Batchelder and son Matthew of Elizabethton; two sisters, Betty Ann Woods and Cathleen Wilson; very special friends, Clyde and Nell Jenkins, Dr. Clayton Vandiver, Wayne and Judy Andes, fellow co-workers at the Johnson City Press, friends and family from First Baptist Church, Victor and Judy Deloach and the staff at Ivy Hall Nursing Home. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. The graveside service for Mr. Richardson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Polk officiating. Music will be under the direction of Danny Minton. The family will receive friends from Noon until 1:30 P.M. Thursday at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton. Wanda L. Caldwell went to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 26, 2005, where she was met by Jesus. Along beside him stood the love of her life, her husband, Thomas William "Bill" Caldwell; her parents, Anderson and Katie
Richardson; two brothers, Billy Boy and Frank; and two sisters, Leslie and Charlotte.
Wanda was born June 6, 1935. She was a native of Carter County and a former member of Moore's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church where she played the piano, sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. Wanda loved Jesus and loved to
serve Him. She taught her children that the love of Jesus was for everyone and to sing praises to him. Wanda also played and sang with several gospel groups and no doubt, she is singing now.
The funeral service for Mrs. Caldwell will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, in the Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. James Richardson officiating. Music will be provided by Mary Carrier, Tiffany

Ms. Lelia Dora Taylor, 89, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday, December 28, 2014 with her family and close friends by her side, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Pearl Estes Richardson and Noah Richardson, Sr. and was born in Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Elwayne Cole, and three brothers, Roy Richardson, Orville Richardson and Noah Richardson, II.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church and was retired from North American Rayon. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and especially loved to cook for them. Her pastimes included crocheting, quilting, gardening, cooking and canning the food from her garden.

She is survived by her children, Bernice Arnold and her husband, Glen; Connie Oliver and her husband, Bobby; her grandchildren, Lisa Heaton and her husband Ronnie; Robin Arnold and her fiancé, Tom Crabtree; Rebecca Lubag and her husband, Roy; Amanda Vance and her husband, David; Jana Cole and her, fiancé, Travis Lethcoe; Noah Cole and his wife, Macey and David Spradlin; her great-grandchildren, Prenthia Buckles and her husband, Joe; Cassandra Loveday; Joshua Lubag; Cassidy Lubag; Andrew Vance; Olivia Cole; Blackley and Tristin; great-great grandchildren, Mollie Buckles and Addilyn Buckles. A very special friend, Brenda Timbs and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Roy Leslie Richardson, 86, 156 Richardson Hollow Road, Elizabethton passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Noah & Pearl Estes Richardson. He was a Heavy Machine Operator. Mr. Richardson loved to garden, hunt, fish and was a bee keeper. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved Baseball.
Mr. Richardson was a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church and was a former member and deacon of Unaka Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Orville and Noah Richardson, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years: Beulah Finney Richardson. His Children: Bobby Richardson, James Richardson and wife Judy and Pamela Martin and husband Lee all of Elizabethton and Patsy Williams of the home. His Grandchildren: Donald Leslie Richardson, Dena Laws, Candy Shelton, Charice Richardson and Christopher Richardson. His Great Grandchildren: Stephen, Lucas and McKenna. One Great Great Granddaughter: Jordan Hilman. One Brother: Floyd Richardson. One Sister: Lela Taylor.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. James Richardson, Rev. Richard Estep and Rev. Eric Heaton officiating. James Lloyd Arnold, 7 months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Arnold, Route 5, Elizabethton, died in a Johnson City hospital, Thursday morning at 8:20 o'clock.
Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Arnold; two sisters, Ronnie Mae and Mary Ellen; two brothers, Stacy Ray, John Hobert; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Richardson; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Arnold.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 11:00 o'clock from the home on Stoney Creek with the[sic] Mack Hodge officiating. Burial will be made in Hurley cemetery.

Rosaline Blevins Lively, 78, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, at her residence after an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Beryl Taylor Blevins.
Rosaline was a 1961 graduate of Unaka High School. She was employed at Human Services of Elizabethton before moving to Maryville, Tenn., where she was employed also with Human Services. Later she was owner of Picture Show Video in Maryville. Rosaline was a member of Moores Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to read, travel and spend time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Infant Sexton Blevins, Leon Blevins and Leroy Blevins.
Survivors include her daughters, Ginger Peters Henry and Elizabeth Ann Lively; her honorary granddaughter, Taylor Rayne Riden; her sister, Irene Brockwell; several nieces and nephews; and her fur baby, Aki Pretty Girl.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, July 12, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Blevins, the Rev. Willie Campbell and the Rev. Buddy Hunt officiating. The Eulogy will be given by Stephanie Pierce. Music will be by Sherry Peters. The graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, in the Garland Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, will be Paul Riden, Leonard Bowers, Dallas Pierce, Chuck Pierce and Lynn Bowling. ELIZABETHTON - Thomas “Tommy” A. Caldwell, age 63 of Elizabethton went home to be with the Lord on Friday October 15, 2021 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Tommy was born in Elizabethton on December 27, 1957 to the late Thomas “Bill” & Wanda Lou Caldwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom Caldwell and wife Madge and Anderson Richardson & wife Katie.
Tommy was an active member of Sunrise Free Will Baptist Church where he enjoyed playing guitar. He was an avid outdoors man and loved hunting, fishing and trapping. He loved woodworking and building, was very artistic and could play many instruments. He was a man of many talents and hobbies. He was a devoted father and grandfather. “Paw” had a very special love for his grandchildren with whom he loved to spend time with and be around.
Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters: Heather (Mike) Fritts and Savanna (David) Cable. His Grandchildren: Dylan, Sophie, Will, Zachary and Easton. Five Sisters: Kathy (David) Gilliam, Joyce Richardson, Maria (Jerome) Ford, Brenda (Merle) Nidiffer and Mary Carrier. His Uncle: Richard Caldwell, his aunt: Kathleen Wilson, many nieces, nephews and cousins and two very special friends: Earl Beals and Tim Lyons.

A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Roy and Beulah Finney Richardson.
Bobby Joe loved to fox hunt, go fishing and raise chickens. He was a member of Unaka Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Patsy Williams, of the home, and Pamela Martin and husband Lee, Elizabethton; one brother, Dr. James Richardson and wife Judy, Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews.
