Patsy Carol Courtner, age 73, of Mountain City, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born in Bluefield, WV on July 20, 1945 to the late Smith Parsons and Callie Childress Parsons. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Mae Courtner, grandson, Robert Dean Courtner, sisters, Betty Shaw, Jackie Mokie and Linda Sue Parsons, brothers, Seabert Parsons and Roger Parsons. Patsy enjoyed reading books, gardening and taken care of her family and will be truly missed. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memories included her husband of 57 years Kenneth Clarence Courtner, daughter, Brenda Mary Lynn Dugger and husband John, sons, Clarence Junior Courtner and wife Priscilla and Robert Dean Courtner and wife Stephanie, brothers, Kyle Parsons, Bobbie Parsons and Charles Parsons, grandchildren, Brandy Miller and husband Cory, Adam Dugger, Angel Courtner and Evelyn Courtner, great-grandchildren, Aiden Dugger and Skyler Robbins, several, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Shirley Allen.

The family will receive friends Sunday July 29, 2018 from 2-3:00 p.m. at Mountain City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with R.L. Poole officiating, music will be by Shannon Courtner. Pallbearers will be John Dugger, Eddie Courtner, Howard Courtner and Timothy Dugger. Graveside service and burial will follow the funeral on Sunday from Rock Springs Church Cemetery.
