    Buried:
    Mary Lou Livingston, 83, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with her Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at her home. Mary Lou was born in Elizabethton to the late Charles and Anna Beryl Stevens. In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by four brothers, James Foster Stevens, Billy Dean Stevens, Archer Nelson Stevens and her twin, Joseph Ray Stevens.
    Mary Lou was a homemaker. She attended Zion Baptist Church and also attended Gap Creek Christian Church.
    Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 56 years, Richard Livingston, of the home; her brother, Lee Roy Stevens (Marlene) of Marysville, Wash.; and her sisters, Hattie Belle Poarch and Peggy Stevens, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
    Richard Earl Livingston, 88 of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Johnson City Medical Center. Richard was born in Carter County to the late Worley Livingston and Belle Angel Livingston. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Stevens Livingston, and a sister, Charlotte Frye.
    Richard enjoyed fishing, pitching horseshoes and playing corn hole.
    Those left to cherish his memory include his niece, Lydia Wilson of Bristol, Tenn.; great-niece, Ashley Wilson of Chilhowie, Va.; great-nephew, Bo Wilson of Bristol, Tenn.; and special friend, Anthony Ford of Elizabethton.
    A graveside service to honor Mary Lou’s and Richard’s memories will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery (New Annex-215 Heroes Drive) with Mr. Craig Layfield, minister, officiating.

    HAMPTON - Mr. Billy D. Stevens, age 78, of Hampton, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness.

    He was born in Elizabethton and was a son of the late Charles Ray and Anne Beryl Archer Stevens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Ray Stevens, James Foster Stevens, Archer Nelson Stevens and a brother-in-law, Clyde Poarch. Mr. Stevens was of the Freewill Baptist Faith.

    Those left to cherish his memory include a brother, Lee Roy Stevens (Marlene), of Seattle, WA; three sisters, Hattie Bell Poarch, of Elizabethton; Peggy Stevens, of Hampton; Mary Lou Livingston (Richard), of Elizabethton; a special niece, Sue Pierce, of Elizabethton; and a special friend, Lee Garland of Hampton. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.

    The family will receive friends in from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, or at the home at other times.

    A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, September, 12, 2018, at 12:00 PM in the Johnson-Roanview Cemetery in Roan Mountain. Active pallbearers will be Robert Archer, John Harmon, John Pierce, Jason Honeycutt, Bruce Stevens, Bud Stevens, Doug Stevens and Stacy Archer. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Livingston, Charles Sells and Will Hardy.
