    Lockie Maxine "Pansy" Guy, 81, of Butler, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton.

    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Polly Hill Williams.

    Mrs. Guy was retired from General Motors of Pontiac, Mich. She had also lived in Florida. She was a member of Piney Grove Church of Christ.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Guy, in 1988, and two sisters, Vorita Shelton and Lula Mae Harrell.

    Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred Eugene and Kimberly Guy, Rotonda West, Fla., and Counce Henry and Penny Guy, Johnson City; a daughter and son-in-law, Vorita and George Persinger, Ortonville, Mich.; her life partner, Joe Richardson; two brothers, Charles Williams, Johnson City, and George Williams, Hampton; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Carl Cable.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Guy will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Dean Estep, minister, officiating. Music will be by the congregation. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, in the Piney Grove "Poga" Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday, will be Robbie Barlow, Kenny Williams, Mike Williams, Patrick Garland, Wayne Lowe, Johnny Garland and Richard Shelton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Harrell, Chuck Williams, Gary Guy, Terry Cable, Opal Cable, Dillon Barlow, George Persinger II and James Guy Jr.

    Lockie married Alfred E. Guy on 8 Oct 1947 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Alfred (son of Carlie McKinley Guy and Alice Vertie Morgan) was born on 3 Jan 1929 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 9 Feb 1988 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Piney Grove Church of Christ Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.     JOHNSON CITY - Charles "Willie" Dayton Williams, 84, Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center.

    Charles was born in Hampton, TN to the late Henry and Polly Hill Williams.

    Charles was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a lifelong member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church. He loved to play softball with community and church leagues. He also really enjoyed being apart of the volunteer security at his church.

    In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by: three sisters, Vorita Shelton, Pansy Guy and Lula Mae Harrell.

    Survivors include: his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Jewel Miller Williams; one son, Chuck Williams and his wife Robin; one daughter, Kim Johnson; two grandsons, Joshua Williams and Noah Johnson; three great grandsons, Dylan, Roland and Bodhi Williams; one brother, George Williams; and several nieces and nephews.

    The family of Willie Williams will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Grace Free Will Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Curtis Hurt officiating. Pallbearers include: Joshua Williams, Noah Johnson, Tanner Leach, Jim Schweitzer, Aaron Johnson, Dylan Williams, Chris Darnell and David Johnson. Honorary pallbearers include: Bill Greer, Tykie Light, Joe Tittle, Garland Hood, Troy Garland, Homer Greene, George Williams and Doug Jenkins. Please join the family for a fellowship meal following the service. A private burial will take place at Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date.

    JOHNSON CITY - Counce Henry Guy, 67, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

    A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Alfred & Lockie Williams Guy. He had lived in Michigan before returning to Tennessee. He was a graduate of Waterford Township High School in Pontiac, Michigan and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at Tusculum College, Greeneville, Tn. Mr. Guy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from the Bosch-Braking Company as Quality Assurance Manager in Johnson City, TN. He loved to play guitar, golf and bowling. His family was his pride and joy, especially his grandchildren.

    Survivors include his wife of 49 years: Penny Harmon Guy. His Daughters: Jennifer Crowe and Becky Guy Barlow. Two Grandchildren: Morgan Crowe and Dillon Barlow. A brother: Alfred Guy & wife Kimberly. A sister: Rita Persinger & husband George. Several nieces & nephews.

    The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Elizabethton. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2019 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be: Robbie Barlow, Dillon Barlow, Logan Walters, Andy Ekers and Shanon Guy. Military Honors will be provided by the Carter County Honor Guard.

    Counce married Penny Elaine Harmon on 15 Aug 1970 in , Yancey County, North Carolina, . Penny (daughter of Renes D.
