    Charles Edward Tolley, 66, Unicoi passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Johnson City Medical Center.

    A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Robert & Bertie Grindstaff Tolley. He had lived most of his life in Unicoi. He was a graduate of Unicoi County High School. Charles was a machinist, farmer and Christmas Tree Grower. He was a member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church and an avid sportsman.

    Survivors include his wife of 48 years: Charlotte Carver Tolley. His Children: Angela Stonecypher and her husband David, and Christopher Charles Tolley all of Unicoi. One very special grandson: Logan Eli Tolley. Six Sisters: Patricia Miller & husband Conley, Eliz. Gail Storie & husband Jerry, Dorothy Roberts, Katherine Lewis and Linda Sliger all of Unicoi and Joyce Arnett and husband Charlie, Roan Mountain. One Brother: Roy Tolley, Unicoi. Several nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating. The eulogy will be given by Mr. Mike Ingram. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Woody-Pate Cemetery, Unicoi. Music will be provided by the Stevens family. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Saturday will be: Christopher Tolley, Angela Stonecypher, David Stonecypher, Logan Tolley, Jason Clawson, Mike Ingram, and Arthur Blevins. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Roy Tolley, Jerry STorie, Conley Miller, Jim Carver, Charles Arnett, Norman Simerly, Warren Davis, Michael Clawson, Steve Rainbolt and his church family. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to Dr. Charles Famoyin, the staff of the 2500 Wing, Johnson City Medical Center and Lindsey from Amedisys Home Health
