MRS. NORA HEATON
Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Grim Heaton, age 47, who died in a local hospital Thursday night, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Siam Baptist church, with the Rev. H. C. Hopkins in charge. Interment will be in the Bowers Cemetery.
Mrs. Heaton was born in Virginia and at an early age she united with the Baptist church, Cowans Branch, Virginia. She moved to Siam eight years ago and moved her membership to the Siam Baptist Church where she had been a faithful member of the church.
She is survived by her husband, Pat Heaton; one adopted daughter, Mrs. John Heaton; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Grim; four sisters, Mrs. Ben Jones, Kingsport, Mrs. Geneve Peavler, Kingsport, Mrs. Orban Tate and Mrs. Clyde Davis of Castlewood, Va.; one brother, Willie Grim.
Active pall bearers: Mr. Harry Scalf, Roy Scalf, D. B. Scalf, Nellie Shell, Belvie Heaton, Carl Jones and Noah Webb.
Honorary pallbearers will be from the adult Sunday school class of the Siam Baptist Church.

Nora married John Patrick “Pat” Dungan Heaton about 1912 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. John (son of Edward Thomas "Tom" Heaton and Mary T. "Mollie" Bowers) was born on 3 Jul 1891 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 14 Jun 1954 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Bowers Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.
