    ELIZABETHTON - William (David) Bartz, 68, Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, October 8, 2021 at the residence of his sister: Deborah in Stephenson, Michigan after a lengthy illness. Dave was born March 21, 1953 in Elizabethton. He worked as a truck driver and factory worker before joining the National Guard where he obtained his GED. He obtained the rank of E-4 and served in Operation Dessert Shield and Dessert Storm. He enjoyed going to the Casino, Bowling and spending time with the family on the boat. He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and June February Bartz, his wife of 23 years: Billie Christine Smith Bartz, his brother: Charles Hyatt, sisters: Gail Campbell and Carol Staples as well as niece Lori Adams and nephews Stacy Adams and Steve Hyatt.
    He is survived by his son: Charles Daniel Bartz, Step-Daughter: Regina (Brad) Shepherd, Grandsons: Danny Bartz, Josh Bartz, Conner Bartz and Luke Shepherd, Brother: Bobby Joe (Glenda) Hyatt and Sister: Deborah (David) Carlson. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Memorial Funeral Chapel. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Mountain Home National Cemetery (New Section) 215 Heroes Drive, Mountain Home. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

    Charles Roscoe Hyatt, 59, 601 Maple Street, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at his residence.
    Mr. Hyatt was a native of Carter County and a son of Mrs. June February Hyatt Bartz, Elizabethton, and the late Roscoe Hyatt. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Hyatt, April 30, 1995, and his grandparents, W.S. and Emma February.
    Mr. Hyatt was a 1961 graduate of Elizabethton High School. He had lived in the State of Washington from 1962 until he retired in 1995 and returned to Elizabethton. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Operating Engineers Local 302, Seattle, Wash. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era, having served in the United States Army.
    Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a son and daughter-in-law, Bradley Charles and Melissa Hyatt, Elizabethton; three sisters, Linda Gail Adams, Johnson City, Debbie Carlson Stevenson of Michigan, and Carol Cox, Norfolk, Va.; a brother, Bob Hyatt, Elizabethton; a half brother, David Bartz, Elizabethton; and three grandchildren, Mark Miner, Steven Lapp and Brittany Hyatt.
    Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
    HYATT -- Funeral services for Charles Roscoe Hyatt, 59, 601 Maple Street, Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mike Hyder officiating. Music will be provided by Tracie Proffitt and Tracie Shelton. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, in the Willis Cemetery, Hampton. Military Graveside Honors will be accorded by the Captain Lynn H. Folsom VFW Post #2166. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday, will be Albert Willis, Harry Page, Curtis Morton, Bobby Morton, Greg Adams, Mark Miner and Steven Lapp. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Johnson, Joe Willis, John Hardin and Jeff Hyder.

    Linda Gail Campbell, 72, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord, on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was the daughter of the late June Febuary Bartz and was born in Elizabethton. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Stacey Adams; a daughter, Lorie Rosenbaum; a brother, Charles Hyatt; and a sister, Carol Staples.
    Ms. Campbell was a loving mother who loved to fish, sew and quilt. She was of the Baptist faith.
    Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Angie Poole, Elizabethton, Teresa Roberts, Johnson City, and Greg Adams, of Ohio; two special grandchildren, Denny Poole and Brittany Poole, both of Elizabethton; three other grandchildren, Terrie Rokicka of North Carolina, Daniel Roberts, Johnson City, and Kelly Roberts, Elizabethton; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Bartz, Elizabethton, and Bob Hyatt, Elizabethton; and a sister, Debbie Carlson of Michigan. A special friend, Tommy Campbell, of Hampton, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
    A service to honor the life of Ms. Campbell will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, September 30, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 1, at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
