Arthie D. Williams, age 96, 113 Roy Bowers Rd., Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Enoch and Amelia Heatherly Dinsmore.

Mrs. Williams attended Prayer Tabernacle and loved attending church and serving her Lord. She retired from Shufford Mills in Hickory, NC. Mrs. Williams enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Clyde Williams, one sister, one brother and several half-brothers and half-sisters.

Survivors are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Lloyd and Barbara Williams, Wesley and Nancy Williams, Lester Williams, all of Elizabethton, Kenneth and Joy Williams, Butler, three daughters and sons-in-law, Verdie and Martin Pierce, Jr., Christine and Clyde Blevins, Naomi and Carl Richardson, all of Elizabethton, twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Sophie bowers, Elizabethton, two half-brothers, Grayson Dinsmore, Corbin, KY, Howard Dinsmore, Elizabethton, and two half-sisters, June Murray and Lena Shelborn, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Williams will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, in the Tetrick Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace, November 16 with Rev. Eric Lynn Pierce and Rev. Greg Wagner officiating. Music will be under the direction of Shellie Rodifer and Sandra Ollis, soloists. Friends may also call at the homes of her children at other times.

The graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 17 in Caldwell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Those attending are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Verdie Mae Williams Pierce, 91, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021, at her residence. She was born April 6, 1930, to the late Willie Arthie Dinesmore Williams. She was a homemaker, in earlier years she was employed at South East Apparels. She loved to work in her garden, yard work and canning. She was a member of Nidiffer Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Wesley and Loyd Williams, a granddaughter: Tracy Pierce and a daughter-in-law: Lina Sue Pierce.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years: Martin Pierce, Jr., A Daughter: Brenda (Tommy Eugene) Campbell, Her Sons: Jerry (Jackie) Pierce, Michael (Lena Sue) Pierce, Randall Pierce and Eric Lynn (Rita) Pierce all of Elizabethton. Nine Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandson. Two Sisters: Christine Blevins and Naomi Richardson both of Elizabethton and Two Brothers: Lester Williams, Elizabethton and Kenneth (Joyce) Williams, Jonesborough. Several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services was conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Justin Hodges officiating. Graveside Service and Interment were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in the Pearl Bowers Cemetery. Active Pallbearers that assembled at the funeral home at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday was: Kevin Campbell, Jeremy Pierce, Brian Pierce, Justin Pierce, Eric Pierce, Josh Pierce, Marcus Campbell and Mason Pierce.

Christine Williams Blevins, 89, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton, with her loving daughter by her side.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Arthie Densmore Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clyde Blevins, who passed away August 9, 2017.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Blevins, of the home; and a special nephew, Richard Williams of Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 16, in the Pearl Bowers Cemetery. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

Christine married Clyde Blevins on 11 May 1952 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Clyde (son of William Blevins and Lottie Garland) was born about 1929 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 9 Aug 2017 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Loyd A. Williams, 75, of Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Willie C. and Arthie Dinsmore Williams.
Mr. Williams had lived in Adrian, Mich., for a number of years where he retired from the Ford Motor Company. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Williams was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Taylor Williams; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra Ann and Jeff Iott, Madison, Ala.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard L. and Kathy Williams, Louisville, Ky., and Jeffrey and Tammy Williams, Bristol, Tenn.; three sisters, Verdie Mae Pierce, Christine Blevins and Naomi Richardson, all of Elizabethton; three brothers, Wesley and Lester Williams, both of Elizabethton, and Kenneth Williams, Piney Flats; and three grandchildren, Cody Iott, Richard Williams and Tyler Welch. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Pierce officiating.
Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 14, in the Caldwell Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, will be Jeremy Pierce, J.C. Bise, Jeff Iott, Bryan Taylor, Randall Pierce and Justin Pierce. Honorary pallbearer will be Dennis Tweed. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion and Tennessee National Guard.

Alfred married Betty Jo Hamby on 26 Jun 1960. ELIZABETHTON - Naomi Edna Williams Richardson, 82, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Willie & Arthie Cora Dinsmore Williams. She was retired from Southeastern Apparel. In earlier years she had attended North Street Church of Jesus Christ and also New Hope Church of Jesus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Richardson., a son: Curtis Richardson, two sisters: Verdie Mae Pierce and Christine Blevins and three brothers: Alfred, Wesley and Lester Williams.

Survivors include her son: Rickey C. Richardson of the home. One Brother: Kenneth Williams, a Brother-In-law; Elbert Richardson. Also, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2022 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. R.L. Poole officiating. Interment will follow in the Pearl Bowers Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

Naomi married Carl Oscar Richardson on 13 Sep 1959 in , Carter County, Tennessee, . Curtis Eugene Richardson, 55, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born November 17, 1966, in Elizabethton. He was preceded in death by his father: Carl Oscar Richardson.
Survivors include his mother: Naomi Williams Richardson, and a brother: Rickey Richardson, Elizabethton. Two uncles and one aunt.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, in the Pearl Bowers Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be; Jaden Lowe, Gavin Lowe, Nick Green, Bryan Pierce, Kevin Campbell and Jeremy Pierce.
