    Emma Jo Bowers, 79, of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at the Johnson City Medical Center, following a brief illness.
    She was the daughter of the late James Monroe and Elizabeth Williams Bowers. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Bowers; her brothers, Randy and Erwin Bowers; her son-in-law, Todd Stines; and her niece, Judy Lorena Bowers.
    Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Leona Stines, her two sons, Tony and Nathan Bowers, her sisters, Margaret Morris (John) and Diania Hill (Junior); her brothers, Jerry, Eddie and David Bowers, one grandson, Michael Bowers (Melissa), a granddaughter, Brittany Stines-Phillips (Daniel), two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Samuel Bowers, all of Elizabethton; her special aunt, Geraldine Baird, and her special niece, Jenna Lynn, and several other nieces and nephews; and her special pets, Petey, Zoe and Zorro.
    She will be greatly missed by all.

    Diania Jean Bowers Hill, 71, Hampton, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1950 in Carter County to the late James Monroe and Elizabeth Williams Bowers.
    Diania was a homemaker.
    Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Junior Hill; four children, Loretta Hill, John Wayne Hill, Misty Setzer and Jessica Talton; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, David, Eddie and Randy Bowers; her sisters, Margaret Morris, Flo Bowers and Jo Bowers; and several nieces and nephews.
    Her brother, Jerry Bowers, passed away Wednesday night, December 15, 2021.
    A graveside service will be conducted at noon Saturday, December 18, in the Ritchie Cemetery (Stoney Creek). Active pallbearers will be John Hill, Jody Hill, Robbie Miller, Chris Talton, James Ritchie, Earnest Setzer Sr., Kilroy Hill and David Hill.

    Randy Lee Bowers, 309-1/2 East Cottage Avenue, Elizabethton, passed away February 21, 2019, after a brief illness. He was the son of the late James Monroe and Elizabeth Bowers.
    He is survived by sisters, Linda Bowers, Emma Jo Bowers, Diana Hill and Margaret Morris, and his brothers, Jerry, David and Eddie Bowers, all of Elizabethton; several nieces, nephews and cousins; his aunt, Geraldine Baird; and his special little dog friend "Pete."
    Randy was a very special and gifted person. He was known as "Red Man" to everyone who knew him. He loved going to concerts and rock music. He especially loved Hank Williams Jr.
    We would like to thank his doctor, Kimberly Kleine (who was very special to him), his therapist, Gordon, his home health nurses and his Social Workers. We can't thank these people enough for everything they did for Randy; they made a big difference in his life in just the last few months. Randy will be terribly missed by all of us. Randy chose to give his body to research to help other people.
    A private memorial service will be at a later date.
