    Notes:

    Mrs. Mary Alice Nave, 82, H Street, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005,
    at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness.

    Mrs. Nave was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Sutton
    and Lillie Garrison Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
    death by her husband, C.A. Nave, a brother, Fred Williams, and two sisters,
    Hazel Jones and Annie McInturff.

    Mrs. Nave was a mother and homemaker. She had volunteered for 20 years as a
    Pink Lady at Carter County Memorial Hospital and Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

    Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Faye Ella and Roy Freeman,
    Oak Ridge, and Clara Mae Stanley, Elizabethton; a grandson, Justin Stanley,
    Elizabethton; a step-granddaughter, Dianna Lynn Doughton, and a step-great-
    granddaughter, Ashleigh Pratt, both of Portland, Ore. Several nieces and
    nephews also survive.

    Funeral services for Mrs. Nave will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 28,
    in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home with Rev. C. Mack Turner
    officiating. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 9 a.m.
    Friday, July 29, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the
    cemetery at 8:55 a.m. Friday. The family will receive friends at the funeral
    home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday or at the residence, 313 West H Street,
    Elizabethton, at anytime. Special thanks to the staffs of Adventa Hospice,
    Sycamore Shoals Hospital, Pine Ridge Nursing Home and Dr. Robert Walter's
    office.
