    ELIZABETHTON - Lillie Belle Colbaugh Rambo, 86, Elizabethton , peacefully went home to be with the Lord, Sunday October 1, 2017 at the Hillview Health Center.

    A native of Carter County, she was the last surviving child of the late Henry & Crecy Peters Colbaugh and lived her entire life in the Carter Community. Lillie Belle was a graduate of Unaka High School and was a lifetime member of Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: C.W. Rambo, a daughter: Pamela Rambo Hicks, four brothers: Luther, Arthur, Kelsie and Herbert Colbaugh and a sister: Margaret Hardin. She was loved by everyone one that knew her.

    Survivors include her daughter: Paula Rambo, Unicoi, her son and daughter-in-law: Perry and Debra Rambo, Elizabethton. Her son-in-law: Bill Hicks of Elizabethton. Several nieces & nephews.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with her nephew: Rev. Ray Colbaugh and Rev. Roger Hayley officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 in the Blevins Cemetery. Music will be provided by Mr. Dennis Laws. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday will be: Richard Hardin, Dale Colbaugh, Joe Johnson, Frank Arnett, Jason Andes, Patton Arnold and Mickey Rambo. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gale Colbaugh, Clifford Peters, Kenneth Colbaugh, Larry Andes, and members of Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church. The family who like to express and special thanks and appreciation to Cathy Bennett, Tracey Napier, Nadine Crews and friends and neighbors for the wonderful care they provided for our mother.

    Lillie married C. W. Rambo on 11 Apr 1952 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. C. (son of William Rambo and Martha Bell Cole) was born on 22 Mar 1929 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 29 May 2007 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Blevins Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.     ELIZABETHTON — The Lord Took Pamela Gwen "Pam" Rambo Hicks, 61, Elizabethton to be with him Monday, September 28, 2015, at her residence after a brief illness.

    She was a Carter County native. Pam was a 1971 graduate of Unaka High School. She was a member of the Order of Confederate Rose "Wild Mountain Roses" Chapter 11 of Elizabethton.

    Pam attended Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She was loved by many friends.

    She was preceded in death by her father, C.W. Rambo.

    Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Bill Hicks; her mother, Lillie Belle Colbaugh Rambo, Elizabethton; a sister, Paula Rambo, Unicoi; a brother, Perry Rambo and wife Debra, Elizabethton, several cousins and her dog Missy.

    Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2015, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ray Colbaugh and Mr. Randy Carrier officiating.

    Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Dale Williams and Dennis Laws and Gary Melvin, Piper. Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sons of the Confederate Veterans.

    A Memorial Graveside Service will be conducted by the Order of the Black Rose.

    The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence or the residence of her mother Lillie Belle Rambo, Elizabethton.
