    Mary Ruth Tester Trivett, 80 of Earle St. Thomson, Ga., entered into rest December 11, 2006 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Eli Trivett, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Washington Heights Baptist Church with Revs. Sonny Peevy and Brad Ellington officiating. Pallbearers will be Rusty Hannah, Trey Marshall, Troy Josey, Brian Josey, Brian Jenkins, Michael Josey, Hunter Connell, Tony Bentley, Allen Tankersley and Eddie Tankersley. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Trivett was a native of Hampton, Tennessee but lived most of her life in Thomson, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ronald Earle Tester and Nan Williams Tester. Mrs. Trivett was retired from Kingsley Mill after 38 years of service. She was also a member of Washington Heights Baptist Church and a member of the Women's Auxiliary of VFW Post # 7778. Survivors include husband, Eli Trivett, Jr., Thomson, Ga.; daughters, Sherry Neal (Tommy), Hilton Head, S.C., Nancy Trivett, Thomson, Ga., Linda Josey (Chason), Waynesboro, Ga.; brother, Jack Arrington, Wrens, Ga.; special friend and caregiver, Ruth Chastain; sisters, Helen Tester, Johnson City, Tenn., Pat Yates (Dick), Clemons, N.C., Margaret Smith, Tampa, Fla. and Shirley Tester, Albany, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

    Mary married Eli Trivette, Jr. about 1947 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Eli (son of Eli George W. Trivette and Bertha Lutishia Brumitt) was born on 30 Dec 1925 in Washintgon County, , , Tennessee; died on 13 Feb 2009 in McDuffie County, , , Georgia; was buried in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, , McDuffie County, Georgia.
