Gladys (Sis) Potter Trivette, 83, of Butler, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2016, after a brief illness.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Joseph Trivette; father, Millard Potter, and mother, Bessie Potter; sister, Ellen Potter; brothers, Enoch Potter, Boone Potter, Roy Potter and Noah Potter; and son, Michael Danny Trivette.
She was a member of Stone Mountain Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Elmer Dale Potter and wife Cathy Potter, and Bobby Dean Trivette and Sheila Trivette; grandchildren, Joseph J. Trivette and wife April, Patrick Dale Potter, Todd Trivette, Eric Trivette, Bobbi Jo and T.J. Trivette and April Sue Potter Lay; great-grandchildren, Zachary Buckles, Weston Potter, Payton Lay, Jasmine Davis and Colin Trivette; sister, Kathy Campbell; and special friends, Beatrice Holtsclaw, Rosa Potter and Retta Blankenship.

Gladys married Elmer Joseph Trivette before 1983 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Elmer (son of Jacob Leroy Trivette and Dovie Missouri Hicks) was born on 22 Apr 1919 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 2 Aug 1983 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Stone Moutain Baptist Church Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.
