Gilmer Tolley, 65, Hampton, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Clifford and Mageline Swanner Tolley.
He was a retired employee of Empire Furniture. Gilmer was a member of the Fairview Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Roger, Marvin & Harlan Tolley.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years: Mabel Tolley. His Children: Ester Tolley and Lester Tolley and wife Petrica. His Granddaughter: Brittany Rhinehart. One Sister: Louise Stout and husband Tommy. Two Nieces, Two Nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 in the Cochran Cemetery (Fairview Community), Hampton, with the Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow the service. Rev. Henry Berry will provided the music.
Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 3:50 p.m. Monday will be: Tony Tolley, Jessie Tolley, Kevin Carrier, Rex Whitehead, Jeff Whitehead and Landon Lingerfelt.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: David Felder, James Tippett and Joshua Felder.
