    ELIZABETHTON — Kathryn Randolph Hardin, 90, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 in the Hermitage Health Center.
    A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel B. & Viola Collins Randolph.
    She was a 1942 graduate of Elizabethton High School.
    Mrs. Hardin was a homemaker who loved to cook and loved to hike. In the early seventies she and her son walked from Shady Valley to Watauga Lake on top of Iron Mountain. She was a member of Siam Baptist Church.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Hardin and two brothers: Vaughan & Jack Randolph.
    Survivors include Two Daughters: Rosemary Trent and husband Curtiss, Maryville, Tenn. and Martha Talbert and husband John, Bristol, Va. One Son: Bobby Hardin and wife Yolanda, Elizabethton. Five Grandchildren: Robbie Talbert & Wife Leah, Charlottesville, Virginia, Dr. Joey Talbert and wife Megan, Ames, Iowa, Jamie Talbert and wife Kesha, Greensboro, NC, Michael Trent & Wife Ashley, Maryville, Tn. and Bethany Spelce and wife Alex, Knoxville. Her Great Grandchildren: Bryson & Maddie both of Charlottesville, Virginia and Audrey Kathryn Trent, Maryville.
    Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jack Roddy and Mr. Curtis Trent officiating. Interment will follow in the Caldwell Springs Cemetery.
    Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons & Great Grandsons.
    The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. To those who prefer, memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Hardin to the Siam Baptist Church, 2414 Siam Road, Elizabethton, Tn. 37643.
    The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the Staff of Hermitage Health Center for the excellent care our mother received.
