    Notes:

    Helen Eller Wallace, age 90, of 416 Cretsinger Road, Shady Valley, TN. went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2005 at the Johnson County Health Center following a brief illness. She was a native of Shady Valley and was born June 13, 1914 to the late Avery and Betty Neely Eller. She was preceded in death by her husband Alex A. Wallace who died in 1987. She was also preceded in death by five brothers: Robert Eller, Raymond Eller, Roy Eller, Herbert Eller and Donald Eller; four sisters: Irene Mathesius, Lena Boyd, Bessie Houser and Marjorie Parker. She was a member of the Crandull Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She loved sewing, gardening and canning.

    She is survived by her children: Jack Wallace and wife Ruth, Odell Wallace and wife Sue , Ted Wallace and wife Brenda , Jim Wallace and wife Lorene, Dan Wallace, Bill Wallace, Shirley Main and husband Delmar, Betty Watson and Husband Herman, Katie Cornett and Husband John and Judy Watson all of Shady Valley, TN; two brothers: Jim Eller of Shady Valley and Herman Eller and wife Marie of Bristol, VA: three sisters, Pearl Henderson and husband Paul of the Sutherland Community, Ruby Main and husband Charlie of Bristol, TN and Gladys Rasnake of Bristol, TN; thirty grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren and fifteen great, great grandchildren. A number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive.

    Funeral services will be held 8:00 P. M. Saturday, January 22, 2005 from Henson Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jim Sherman and Mr. John Cotham officiating.

    Graveside services will be held 2:00 P. M. Sunday January 23, 2005 from the Wallace Cemetery in Shady Valley. Pallbearers will be grandsons.

    Grace married Arthur Alexander Wallace on 15 Jan 1932 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee. Arthur (son of Jordan Wallace and Nancy E. Martin) was born about 1901 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee; died about 1987 in Johnson County, , , Tennessee. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Notes:

    Teddy 'Ted' Wallace, age 72, of Shady Valley, Tennessee, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 17, 2015, at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.

    He was born on January 14, 1943 in Shady Valley to the late Alex Wallace and Helen Eller Wallace.

    In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Odell Wallace.

    Ted loved hunting and fishing with the boys and arrowhead hunting with his daughter. He did all kinds of work throughout his life, including turbine generator maintenance, car body repair, sawmill and machine shop. Ted also loved being outdoors and working in his garden.

    He was a member of Shady Valley Church of Christ.

    Ted is survived by his wife and best friend of 50 years, Brenda Neal Wallace; children, Melanie Simpson and husband Rob, Tom Wallace and friend Connie Hillard, Jamie Wallace and wife Maureen; sisters, Katie Cornett and husband John, Judy Watson, Shirley Mains, Betty Watson and husband Herman; brothers, Jim Wallace, Bill Wallace and Dan Wallace; grandchildren, Nick Wallace, Dusty Wallace, Rusty Wallace and friend Kristen Arbaugh, Nathan Daniel, Megan Jackson and husband Jimmy, Hannah Carbaugh and Dakota Carbaugh; great grandchildren, Emmalyn Wallace and Jimmy Jackson; several nieces and nephews and many special friends and neighbors.

    The family will receive friends from 5 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the Crandull Church of Christ with the funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. with Pastors Tracey Dugger and Wesley Simons officiating.

    There will be no graveside service as it was Ted's wishes to be cremated.

    Melanie lovingly describes her father as a devoted and loving husband of 50 years, and a devoted and loving father and grandfather. He was someone who never met a stranger and was loved by all.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
