5. | Barbara "Bobbie" Bradshaw ![]() Notes: Barbara "Bobbie" Bradshaw, 75, of Elizabethton, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018, unexpectedly at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Samuel Jackson "Jack" and Gladys Marie Ball Bradshaw and was born in Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard "Smokey Joe" Bradshaw; a nephew, Cecil Howard Bradshaw; and a special brother-in-law, Shelby E. Williams. |
6. | Rev. Cecil Darold Bradshaw ![]() Notes: Reverend Cecil Darold “Nick” Bradshaw began his new life in the presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the age of 79. Nick was a lifelong resident of Elizabethton, born to the late Samuel Jackson “Jack” Bradshaw and Marie (Ball) Bradshaw. Nick was also preceded in death by a beloved son, Cecil Howard Bradshaw; a brother, Howard Bradshaw; and two sisters, Doris Lovelace and Barbara Bradshaw. To know Nick was to love him and he was loved by so many! Nick ministered at Little Milligan Baptist Church for 15 years and loved his church family and the Lord. In his spare time, you could find Nick fishing, hunting, and socializing everywhere he went. He was a light in so many lives and he loved sharing the love and word of God with each person he could. His greatest joy was time spent with his family and the memories he created will live on within them. Nick was also a retired veteran, having served 21 years in the Army National Guard. Nick leaves behind his cherished wife of 56 years, Vickie Davenport Bradshaw; two wonderful and devoted sons, John (Lisa) Bradshaw of Johnson City and SFC (R) Robert (Mandie) Bradshaw of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, whom he adored, Autumn Bradshaw and Nicholas Bradshaw, both of Elizabethton; and his sister, Linda (Shelby) Williams of Elizabethton. Nick also leaves several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends, neighbors, and church family to cherish his memory. A graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Reverend Nick Bradshaw will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Blvd., Mountain Home, TN 37684) with Pastor James Richardson officiating. Military Honors will be accorded at the graveside. All of Nick’s close friends will serve as honorary pallbearers. |
