    Mr. William Benjamin "Bill" Isaacs, 82, of Antioch Road, Mountain City, Tenn., died Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 15, 2004.

    He was born Sept. 4, 1922 in Watauga County, N.C., a son of Enoch and Martha Cornett Isaacs.

    Mr. Isaacs was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a tradesman.

    Survivors include one daughter, Theresa Marie Isaacs of Zionville; three sons, Terry lee Isaacs of Meat Camp, Dennis Martin Isaacs and wife, Paulette, of Elk Park and Robert Dale Isaacs and wife, Cindy, of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Shirley Sanders of Lenoir and Blanch Presnell of Zionville; and two brothers, Joe Isaacs of Lenoir and Johnny Isaacs of Sugar Grove.

    Fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren also survive.

    He was preceded in death by three sons, Julius Stephen and David Benjamin Isaacs and an infant; three daughters, Martha Sue and Mary Carolyn Isaacs and an infant; one brother, Rom Isaacs; and his parents, Enoch and Martha Cornett Isaacs.

    Services were conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Church officiating.

    Burial was in the Henson's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
