    Notes:

    Mrs. Marjorie May Stephens Brown, age 78, Jonesborough, beloved Wife, Mother, and Nanny, was taken to be with her Lord after a lengthy illness on Monday, September 14, 2015, at her residence.

    Mrs. Brown was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Ambrose Frank and Margaret Keys May. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John F. May and Robert Joseph "Joe" May; sisters, M. Carolyn "Cardi" Clark and Margaret Wynn.

    Mrs. Brown retired as an International Communication Supervisor from Wabco Inc. in Peoria, Ill. After retirement she moved to Morristown, Tennessee, and went to work for Cemco Inc.

    She was a member of First Christian Church of Morristown, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

    Survivors include her husband, Ralph Brown, of the home; children, Donna Stephens, Church Hill, Judy Stephens-Runion, Jonesborough, Michael Stephens Ill; brothers, William May and Jack May; grandchildren, Matthew Slaughter, Church Hill, Daniel Stephens, Jonesborough, Jeremy Stephens Ill, and Patrick Stephens Ill; great-grandchildren, Levi Stephens, Scarlett Slaughter and Alexander Slaughter.

    Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 24, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Anglin officiating.

    The family will receive family and friends Wednesday September 22, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

    Graveside for Mrs. Brown will be Thursday following the Funeral service at Maple Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Slaughter, Michael Stephens, Daniel Stephens, Tim Runion, John Mottern and Terry Winters.

    The family would like to say a special Thank You to caregivers Karen Walker and Patty Stamper for their loving care.
