    Notes:

    Martha Pritchard Irick, 86 of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. Martha was a member of Zion Baptist Church.

    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glasco Irick and one son, Larry 'Rabbit' Irick, three brothers and three sisters.

    She is survived by her sister, Mae Pritchard of Elizabethton; son, Gene and his wife Liz of Rialto, CA; son Melvin and his wife, DeAnna of Elizabethton; son, Jerry and his wife Camanda of Elizabethton; daughter Linda Stillwell and her husband Mike of Jonesborough; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

    A life that touched so many can never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the TLC Community Center, Elizabethton, TN 423-543-4673 to honor her love of children and her desire to feed the hungry.

    A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 21st at 2pm at Zion Baptist Church, Gap Creek with Dr. Alan King, officiating. Music will be by the Church Choir and Quartet. Family will receive friends at 1 pm at the church until time for the service.

    Martha married Lloyd Glasco Irick about 1950 in Carter County, , , Tennessee. Lloyd (son of Dallas Carrol Irick and Anna Mae Hicks) was born on 31 May 1928 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; died on 3 Feb 1983 in Carter County, , , Tennessee; was buried in Norris Cemetery, , Carter County, Tennessee.     Larry "Rabbit" Irick, 61, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at his residence, following an extended illness. Larry was born in Carter County, a son of Martha Pritchard Irick, of Elizabethton, and the late Lloyd Glasco Irick. "Rabbit" had worked as a forklift operator for the Robinette Company and was a life-time member of the Elks Lodge. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Vicki Reed Irick, of the home; one daughter, Janice Irick Campbell and fiancé, Shawn, of Mountain City; one step-son, Adam Pierson, of Elizabethton; three grandsons, Gunnar Honeycutt, of the home, and Jake and Kota Pierson, both of Elizabethton; one granddaughter, Katelynn Lingerfelt, of Elizabethton; three brothers, Gene Irick and wife Liz, of California, and Melvin Irick and wife Deanna and Jerry Irick and wife Commanda, both of Elizabethton; and one sister, Linda Stillwell and husband Mike, of Jonesborough. Several nieces and nephews, as well as his special friends, Terry and Valerie Vines, Dain and Vickie Neely, John and June Rash, Cloudy and Joann Guinn, Donald and Claudia Holloway, Jeff Guinn, Beverly Guinn, Michael and Katie Reed, Judy Oliver, members of the Elizabethton Elks Lodge, Tom and Debbie Fair, and Roger Combs, also survive. The family will hold a time of remembrance on Friday, August 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Elizabethton Elks Lodge. Everyone is welcome. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses of the Johnson City Medical Center and the nurses of Mountain States Health Alliance for the love and care shown to Larry and his family during his illness.
